Ok, so you might have noticed that “The Leaning Pear” is listed as my “Favorite Chicken and Waffles in Austin”, even though it's 30 miles from the Airport. AND it's only a seasonal thing, so you can't get them most of the year... This can be a problem when you want Chicken and Waffles.
When they aren't in season at The Leaning Pear, 24 Diner is the best place in Austin to get Chicken and Waffles. Being at 6th and Lamar means it's pretty close to everything so you won't have trouble finding it.
They offer local and organic ingredients in classic American Fare like Breakfast, Chicken, Chili, Burgers, Meatloaf and Ice Cream Milkshakes.
